Kritika Bansal
From the moment Kritika arrived in Australia in 2009 she has made it her duty and place to help others and to engage herself in community projects.
Her first steps in Australia were as an international student where she studied a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology (QUT). It was toward the end of this degree she began her foray into event management and event production.
Now, with over six years experience in the industry & having grown into a wonderful human being, it is a pleasure to have her join us in SIMPLY HUMAN Superheroes Without Capes & to welcome her many talents to the team.
Kritika is currently in her third year with Queensford College where she works as an Accounts Manager overseeing all aspects of the department, while another passion of hers is fulfilled as she is a fully qualified teacher of Business & Accounting courses.
Aside from a flourishing professional career, Kritika currently wears several other hats as well as holding several more from previous positions of prestige.
Being appointed by the Lord Mayor of Brisbane in 2012-13 she was an International Student Ambassador where she acted as a conduit for Indian students both here and overseas. As an advocate of the City of Brisbane she represented it with great pride and professionalism.
In 2015 she was part of a core team who took first place in an international video challenge as winners of the Eurasia-Pacific Region initiated by Global Dialogues. As professional as Kritika is in corporate circles she is also extremely creative – which is something she loves deeply which in turn helps keep her life in balance.
Being one of the prime drivers of the Help Ujwal Campaign Kritika was instrumental in bringing in the legendary Bollywood comedian Johnny Lever while he was on his Australian tour. Indeed it was via Kritika and Mr Lever that Ujwal was able to be admitted into one of Mumbais top hospitals when he had a relapse during his treatment. It was from this hospital admission Ujwals road to recovery rapidly began to accelerate.
Through her caring and gentle nature, Kritika was able to provide love and support to the entire team during the Ujwal campaign with Prerna Pahwa crediting her as my pillar of strength.
When asked if she would like to join SIMPLY HUMAN team Kritika replied yes without a moments hesitation. Every team has players and Kritika is a key one.
She is now combining her time as Secretariat for the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) as well as serving as a member of our organisation too.
Being described by many as a sincere, humble and generous soul it is with great pleasure that we are able to welcome Kritika into the organisation.
