Hridaya Buddhavarapu is the Youth Brand Ambassador for SIMPLY HUMAN INC in Melbourne Australia. Having joined the team during the ‘help Ujwal’ campaign it was unanimously felt she would be a perfect fit to lead our team in Victoria – and she happily accepted!

Hridaya was born in India but raised in Australia. Her cultural roots are closely followed and respected whilst she has also absorbed the western culture to give her a fantastic understanding of the multicultural society in which we live.

As a naturally vibrant and ‘full of energy’ 23-year-old, her compassion and drive to help others shines through at every possibly turn – working alongside her during the above campaign was a blessing and joy to behold.

Coming from a closely knit family in Brisbane sees Hridaya, her mum, dad, & brother all play key roles within many Indian community groups and events. Having such a warm and caring family is something Hridaya credits for how she herself has turned out as an adult…children, after all, being products of their environment.

Not being afraid to travel saw her embark on a backpacking trip around India where she further explored her culture and heritage prior to commencing her studies in Human Resources – a degree which has seen her move to Melbourne in order to undertake the course.

Now in her final year of study, Hridaya, in her spare time is a gifted dancer having tapped her little feet since the age of three. As an artistic release she is also a talented painter and enjoys nothing more than sitting with a canvas to feel the freedom that only the flick of a paint brush can give.

She is a proud Australian who retains a respect for her own culture whilst seamlessly integrating into the ‘Aussie’ way of life. Her love of food is reflected by her love of baking as well as being a founding member of the Indian apparel label, ‘Naksathra’.

Her bounce, energy and style accompany her compassion for humanity in the most beautiful of ways and it is with great pleasure we welcome her to the team at SIMPLY HUMAN INC.

Hridaya’s motto which she lives by is that of Will Rogers; ‘Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today’. Such touching words which echo her belief that our actions today can create a better tomorrow.
