Ash Nyugent
Ash is the Deputy CEO of CareerSeekers (Sydney), a nonprofit which assists tertiary-qualified refugees to restart their professional careers in Australia. Prior to this Ash was the Social Enterprise Development Manager at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (Melbourne). In this role he established the organisation’s cleaning enterprise which generated a profit and provided employment for twenty asylum seekers.
Outside of work Ash established Masala Football Club, a suburban AFL club with a multicultural focus. He is a Community Ambassador with the AFL, and is co-founder of schoolgoers, currently fundraising to open an education centre in Bihar, India.
